Melea’s real estate brokerage career spans over 30 years. She has taken her passion for real estate sales and training and combined it with her passion for creating and delivering informative and energetic real estate instruction. Melea is a multiple graduate of NC State University with her latest degree obtained in 2019 - Masters of Education in Adult Training and Development and certificate in E-Learning Education.
Melea’s vast career in sales earned her numerous sales awards with her REALTOR® momma, Billie Lemon, whom Melea worked with for decades. In addition to sales and real estate education, Melea has enjoyed being a Broker-in-Charge as well as training new agents. Melea has received several real estate instructor designations including: Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI), Gold Standard Instructor (GSI) and Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI). Melea has presented at national and state educator’s conferences for both real estate and adult education. Furthermore, Melea received the Rising Star Award in 2018 from the national organization, Real Estate Educators Association (REEA). Melea has served on the Board of Directors for REEA from 2019 – 2021 and was co-chair for the REEA Education Committee as well.
Melea loves teaching both on-line and in-person and looks forward to seeing all of you in one of her classes soon.
